PDF Angel (“the app”) is a document scanner and PDF tools app for Android and iOS. This policy explains what the app does and does not collect.

Scanning and PDF work stay on your device

All document scanning, image processing, and PDF operations (create, merge, split, rotate, compress, password, OCR) happen entirely on your device. The documents you scan or process are never sent to us or to any server. We do not operate a backend for this app and we do not have your files.

What is stored, and where

• Your scanned documents and PDFs are saved only in the app’s local storage on your device. You can rename or delete them at any time. Uninstalling the app removes them.
• Settings (default filter, PDF quality) are stored locally on your device.
• We do not require an account, sign-in, name, email, or phone number.

Permissions

• Camera — used only to scan documents. Camera frames are processed on-device and are not recorded or uploaded.
• Photos (optional) — used only if you choose to import an image to convert to PDF. Access is limited to the images you pick.
• Internet — used only to load the banner advertisement (see below). Scanning and PDF processing do not use the internet.

Text recognition (OCR)

OCR is performed on-device using an offline text-recognition model. Recognized text is shown to you and is not uploaded.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app shows a banner advertisement provided by Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google’s advertising SDK may collect and process certain information such as a device advertising identifier and general device/usage data, in accordance with Google’s policies. We do not receive this data ourselves.

• You can reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking / Apple Advertising).

Data we do not collect

We do not collect your documents, scanned content, location, contacts, or any personal identifiers on our servers. We do not sell data.

Children

The app is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy; changes will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.

PDF Angel(“본 앱”)는 Android·iOS용 문서 스캐너 및 PDF 도구 앱입니다.

스캔·PDF 처리는 기기에서만 이루어집니다

모든 문서 스캔·이미지 처리·PDF 작업(생성·병합·분할·회전·압축·암호·OCR)은 전적으로 기기 내에서 처리되며, 스캔·처리한 문서는 서버로 전송되지 않습니다. 본 앱은 별도의 서버를 운영하지 않습니다.

저장되는 정보

• 스캔한 문서·PDF는 앱 내부 로컬 저장소에만 저장됩니다. 앱에서 이름 변경·삭제할 수 있고, 앱을 삭제하면 함께 사라집니다.
• 설정(기본 필터·PDF 품질)은 기기에만 저장됩니다.
• 계정·로그인·이름·이메일·전화번호를 요구하지 않습니다.

권한

• 카메라 — 문서 스캔에만 사용(기기 내 처리·저장/업로드 안 함).
• 사진(선택) — 이미지를 PDF로 변환할 때만 사용.
• 인터넷 — 하단 배너 광고 로드에만 사용(스캔·PDF 처리는 인터넷 미사용).

문자 인식(OCR)

OCR은 오프라인 텍스트 인식 모델로 기기 내에서 처리되며, 인식된 텍스트는 업로드되지 않습니다.

광고(Google AdMob)

본 앱은 Google AdMob 배너 광고를 표시합니다. 광고 제공을 위해 Google 광고 SDK가 광고 식별자 등 일부 정보를 Google 정책에 따라 수집·처리할 수 있으며, 해당 정보를 당사가 직접 수신하지는 않습니다. Google 데이터 이용: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. 광고 식별자는 기기 설정에서 초기화/제한할 수 있습니다.
