Faderjam (“the app”) is an Android DJ mixer. It plays two songs from your phone at the same time and lets you blend them with a crossfader, EQ, loops, effects and sample pads, and record the result. This policy explains what the app does with data. In short: it works entirely on your device and sends nothing anywhere.
To show the songs on your phone, the app asks for permission to read audio files (“Music and audio” on Android 13 and newer, “Storage” on older versions). It uses this permission only to list songs and to decode the one you load onto a deck. If you prefer not to grant it, you can pick a single file with the system file picker instead, or use the built-in demo tracks. While a song is loaded, a temporary decoded copy is kept in the app's private cache so playback stays smooth; it is deleted when you load another song or when the app starts next time.
The record button captures the app's own output — both decks, pads and effects — into an M4A file. The app does not use the microphone and does not request microphone permission. Recordings are kept in the app's private cache until you save them to a folder you choose or share them with another app; files older than seven days are removed from the cache automatically.
TanzSoft does not collect, store, sell or share any personal information through this app. There is no server behind the app. If you email us, we use your email address only to reply.
The app requests nothing else: no location, no contacts, no camera, no microphone and no internet.
The app is a general audience utility and is not directed at children.
The app keeps no data about you. Uninstalling it removes its cache and settings from your device. Recordings you saved to a folder of your choice remain yours to keep or delete.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date. Questions: tanzsoftkor@gmail.com
