Pujanook (“the app”) is a Hindu calendar (panchang), festival reminder and Bhagavad Gita app for Android. This policy explains what the app does and does not collect.
Pujanook has no account, no sign-in, no advertising and no analytics or tracking SDKs. We do not collect your name, email, phone number, contacts or advertising identifier.
If you choose “Use my location”, the app asks Android for your approximate location and uses it only on your phone to calculate sunrise, panchang times and festival dates, and to show the name of the nearest city from a list built into the app. Your location is never sent to us or anyone else. You can instead choose a city by hand, in which case no location permission is used.
The store version of Pujanook has no internet permission. The panchang is calculated on your phone and all texts are built in, so the app never contacts our servers or anyone else's.
Festival and tithi reminders are scheduled on your phone from the dates it calculates. Nothing is sent from our servers.
The app is a general-audience religious utility and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
We may update this policy; changes will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.
