Routerdesk (“the app”) helps you open your router’s admin page, look up factory router logins, see which devices are on your Wi-Fi, and run network tools such as ping, traceroute, port scan and DNS lookup. This policy explains what the app does and does not collect.
Routerdesk has no account and no sign-in, and we do not operate a backend for the app. Everything the app finds about your network is shown on your screen and kept only on your device.
To find your router and the devices on your Wi-Fi, the app sends standard discovery traffic inside your own local network (connection checks to common ports, ICMP ping, mDNS/Bonjour, SSDP/UPnP and NetBIOS name queries). The results (device addresses, names and open services) are displayed in the app and kept in memory. Device nicknames you type and the list of devices seen before (used to mark “New” devices) are stored locally on your device. None of this is uploaded.
The router admin page opens inside the app and talks directly to your router. If you choose “Remember on this phone”, the username and password for that router are encrypted with a key held in the Android Keystore and stored only on your device. They are never uploaded, never included in backups, and can be deleted any time in Settings. Default logins shown in the app come from a list bundled with the app (published maker manuals).
Android only reveals Wi-Fi network names (SSID) and nearby Wi-Fi scan results to apps that hold location permission. Routerdesk asks for it only when you tap “Show Wi-Fi name” or open “Nearby Wi-Fi”, and uses it solely to display network names, channels and signal strength. The app never reads, stores or transmits your location. Everything else works without this permission.
These services receive your IP address as part of any normal internet request. We do not receive or keep these results.
The main tabs show a small banner ad served by Google AdMob. The router admin page contains no ads. AdMob may use your device’s advertising identifier to serve and measure ads, subject to Google’s advertising policies. In the EEA and UK the app asks for your consent before loading ads, and you can change your choice any time from Settings → Ad privacy options.
Only scan and sign in to networks and devices you own or are allowed to manage.
The app is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children under 13.

Routerdesk(“본 앱”)는 공유기 관리 페이지 열기, 제조사 기본 계정 안내, 내 와이파이 접속 기기 확인, 핑·경로 추적·포트 스캔·DNS 조회 등 네트워크 도구를 제공합니다.
본 앱은 계정·로그인이 없고, 당사는 앱용 서버를 운영하지 않습니다. 앱이 찾은 네트워크 정보는 화면에 보여 주고 기기 안에만 둡니다.
공유기와 같은 와이파이의 기기를 찾기 위해 사용자의 내부 네트워크 안에서만 표준 탐색 신호(흔한 포트 연결 확인, 핑, mDNS, SSDP/UPnP, NetBIOS 이름 조회)를 보냅니다. 결과는 앱 화면에만 표시되며, 사용자가 붙인 기기 이름과 “새 기기” 표시용 목록은 기기에만 저장됩니다. 업로드되지 않습니다.
관리 페이지는 앱 안에서 열리며 공유기와 직접 통신합니다. “이 휴대폰에 기억”을 고르면 해당 공유기의 아이디·비밀번호가 안드로이드 키스토어의 키로 암호화되어 기기에만 저장됩니다. 업로드·백업되지 않으며 설정에서 언제든 삭제할 수 있습니다.
안드로이드는 와이파이 이름(SSID)과 주변 와이파이 검색 결과를 위치 권한이 있는 앱에만 보여 줍니다. 본 앱은 “와이파이 이름 보기”·“주변 와이파이”를 누를 때만 권한을 요청하며, 네트워크 이름·채널·신호 표시에만 씁니다. 위치 자체는 읽거나 저장·전송하지 않습니다.
주요 탭 하단에 Google AdMob 배너 광고가 표시됩니다. 관리 페이지 화면에는 광고가 없습니다. AdMob은 광고 식별자를 사용할 수 있으며 Google 광고 정책을 따릅니다. EEA·영국에서는 광고 전에 동의를 묻고, 설정 → 광고 개인정보 옵션에서 바꿀 수 있습니다.
