Stowphone (“the app”) is a self-control tool for Android. It keeps the apps you choose closed during focus sessions, schedules and after a daily limit, and shows your own screen-time numbers. This policy explains what the app reads and what it does with it.

Nothing leaves your phone

Stowphone has no internet permission, no account, no sign-in, no advertising and no analytics or tracking SDKs. It cannot send data anywhere. We do not collect your name, email, phone number, location, contacts, advertising identifier, list of installed apps or app-usage history.

Usage access (app usage data)

• With the Usage access permission that you switch on in system Settings, the app reads which app is in the foreground and how long apps have been used.
• This is used for two purposes only: to apply the blocking rules you set (focus sessions, schedules, daily limits, pause before opening) and to show your own screen-time statistics inside the app.
• The information is processed and stored only on your device, in the app's private storage. It is never transmitted, sold or shared.

List of apps on your phone

To let you choose which apps to block, the app shows the apps that have a launcher icon on your phone. The list is read on the device when you open the picker and is not sent anywhere.

Display over other apps

This permission is used only to show the app's own block screen in front of an app you chose to block. The app does not read or record the content of other apps.

No accessibility service

Stowphone does not use the Android accessibility service, device administrator, VPN or notification access. It cannot see what is on your screen, what you type or what your notifications say.

Notifications and the background service

While at least one rule is on, the app runs a foreground service with one status notification so that your rules keep working. It reads the usage record only while the screen is on.

Device backup

If Android device backup is on, only your rules (not your usage history) may be included in the backup handled by Google under your Google account settings. We have no access to it.

You are never locked out

Phone and emergency calls, messages, system Settings and your home screen are never blocked. You can remove the app at any time.

Deleting your data

Uninstall the app, or clear its storage in system Settings. Because we hold no copy of your data, there is nothing to delete on our side.

Not a medical product

Stowphone is a general self-control tool. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition.

Children

The app is not directed at children and is not a parental-control or monitoring tool. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

Changes

We may update this policy; changes will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.

Stowphone(“본 앱”)은 안드로이드용 자기 관리 도구입니다. 사용자가 고른 앱을 집중 시간·일정·하루 한도에 따라 열리지 않게 하고, 본인의 화면 사용 시간을 보여 줍니다.

기기 밖으로 나가는 정보 없음

본 앱에는 인터넷 권한·계정·로그인·광고·분석/추적 SDK가 없습니다. 구조상 어떤 정보도 외부로 보낼 수 없습니다. 이름·이메일·전화번호·위치·연락처·광고 ID·설치된 앱 목록·앱 사용 기록을 수집하지 않습니다.

사용 기록 접근

• 사용자가 시스템 설정에서 직접 켠 사용 기록 접근 권한으로, 지금 앞에 있는 앱이 무엇인지와 앱별 사용 시간을 읽습니다.
• 용도는 두 가지뿐입니다: 사용자가 정한 차단 규칙(집중 세션·일정·하루 한도·열기 전 잠깐 멈춤)을 적용하는 것, 그리고 앱 안에서 본인의 사용 통계를 보여 주는 것.
• 이 정보는 기기 안에서만 처리·저장되며 전송·판매·공유되지 않습니다.

설치된 앱 목록

차단할 앱을 고를 수 있도록 실행 아이콘이 있는 앱을 보여 줍니다. 목록은 기기 안에서만 읽으며 어디로도 보내지 않습니다.

다른 앱 위에 표시

사용자가 막기로 한 앱 앞에 본 앱의 차단 화면을 띄우는 데만 씁니다. 다른 앱의 화면 내용을 읽거나 기록하지 않습니다.

접근성 서비스 미사용

본 앱은 안드로이드 접근성 서비스·기기 관리자·VPN·알림 접근을 쓰지 않습니다. 화면 내용, 입력한 글자, 알림 내용을 볼 수 없습니다.

알림과 백그라운드 서비스

켜진 규칙이 하나라도 있으면 규칙이 계속 적용되도록 상태 알림 1개와 함께 포그라운드 서비스가 실행됩니다. 사용 기록은 화면이 켜져 있는 동안에만 읽습니다.

기기 백업

안드로이드 기기 백업을 켜 두셨다면 규칙만(사용 기록은 제외) 백업에 포함될 수 있으며, 이는 구글 계정 설정에 따라 구글이 처리합니다.

갇히지 않습니다

전화·긴급 통화, 문자, 시스템 설정, 홈 화면은 어떤 경우에도 막지 않습니다. 앱은 언제든 삭제할 수 있습니다.

데이터 삭제

앱을 삭제하거나 시스템 설정에서 저장공간을 지우면 됩니다. 저희는 사본을 갖고 있지 않아 따로 지울 것이 없습니다.

의료 제품이 아닙니다

본 앱은 일반적인 자기 관리 도구이며 질병을 진단·치료·예방하지 않습니다.

아동

본 앱은 아동을 대상으로 하지 않으며, 자녀 감시·통제 도구가 아닙니다.
