A story won't play

Stories need an internet connection the first time. Check your connection and try again, or save a story ahead of time with Save for offline.

I hear a device voice instead of the narrator

A few languages don't have narration yet, so your device's built-in voice reads instead. You can pick another installed voice from the ⋯ menu while playing, or add voices in the Settings app under Accessibility > Read & Speak > Voices.

Story Night

On the Tonight tab, pick the time until lights out and tap Start story night. Stories play one after another. The sleep timer is set for you, and the sound fades away at the end.

Saved stories

Saved stories stay on the device and play without internet. To remove one, swipe left on it in the Saved tab. The Settings screen shows how much space they use.

Siri

Say "Read a bedtime story in Lullaquill". You can also add it to a bedtime routine in the Shortcuts app.
