PC Remote for iPhone and iPad — support

Write to tanzsoftkor@gmail.com. Tell us your device, iOS version, your computer and what you were doing. Copying the connection log from Settings helps a lot.

Getting started

• Get the PC Remote program for your computer from tanzsoft.com/pcremote and run it.
• Keep the phone and the computer on the same network.
• Open the app, tap Find my computer, allow Local Network, tap your computer and click Allow on it.
• No computer at hand? Tap Try it without a computer.

My computer does not appear

• Check that PC Remote is running. Its icon sits next to the clock on Windows and in the menu bar on a Mac.
• Check that both are on the same network. Guest networks and many office networks keep devices apart.
• Turn off any VPN on either side and search again.
• Allow PC Remote through the firewall on private networks.
• Check that Local Network is on for this app in the iPhone Settings app.
• Or use Enter an address with the address shown in the PC Remote menu.

Connected, but the pointer does not move on my Mac

Turn on PC Remote in System Settings › Privacy & Security › Accessibility. For screen view, also turn on Screen Recording there.

Is it safe?

It works only inside your own network, and the computer must approve each phone once. The connection is not encrypted, so avoid public Wi-Fi.

Can I use it away from home?

No. Both devices must be on the same local network.
