- Thailand, Laos, Cambodia — Wan Phra on waxing 8 and 15, waning 8 and 14/15 (Thai lunar calendar, Suriyayatra arithmetic), Māgha, Visākha and Āsāḷha Pūjā, Khao Phansa, Ok Phansa, Kathina season.
- Myanmar — uposatha days, Kason and Waso full moons, Thadingyut, Tazaungdaing. Sri Lanka — every Poya day as officially published.
- China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea, Vietnam — lunar dates and fast days computed astronomically in each country's time zone; Buddha's Birthday, Ullambana, Guanyin days, Bodhi Day. Japan — Nehan-e, Hanamatsuri, Higan, Obon, Jōdō-e.
- Tibet, Mongolia, Bhutan — Phugpa-system dates with leap months and repeated days; Losar, Saga Dawa, Chökhor Düchen, Lhabab Düchen, Ganden Ngamchoe.
